Eno Boulay Martin & Donahue, LLP
was started in 2001 but it legal roots go much deeper.
The firm is a merging of two long-standing legal heritages
and businesses well know in Massachusetts and southern
New Hampshire.
Arthur Eno, well known real estate counsel,
title expert and author of the Massachusetts Practice
Series Real Estate Volumes for many years started the
practice in Lowell in 1948. A graduate of Harvard Law
School he followed his fathers profession. Judge Arthur
L. Eno was a District Court Judge from 1927 to 1965.
Joseph P. Donahue Jr., the son of a prominent
criminal and trial attorney, established roots in Lowell
in a family practice, Donahue & Donahue Attorneys,
P.C. that operated in Lowell from 1887 to 2001 where
he practiced business law. Matthew C. Donahue joined
that firm after a stint in the District Attorneys Office
in 1988 and practiced criminal, personal injury, business
and environmental litigation.
In 1991, Sandra Boulay and William Martin
established the firm of Eno, Boulay & Martin, LLP
in Lowell --a practice that focused on real estate,
estate planning, family law and commercial litigation.
In 2001, the Donahue's merged their litigation
and commercial practice areas along with an active estate
planning practice with Eno, Boulay & Martin creating
the firm as you see it today.
It seems like the obvious completion
of a circle that in 1930, on the shores of Corbett's
Pond, the Eno's and Donahue's would sit together and
pose for a picture. You never know who your sitting
next to! It is a tradition that the partners Sandra
Boulay, Bill Martin and Matt Donahue respect and carry
as their own every day.
